General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, January 10 tease someone’s advised to use something to his  advantage, mama bear moments, and rose-colored glasses are  OFF!

Coming Up On General Hospital

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is advised  to use something for his advantage, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has a mama bear moment and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) rose-colored glasses are OFF!

General Hospital Spoilers: Using To His Advantage

It looks like Ava Jerome (Maura West) is dressed to the nines as she is at a fancy dinner date with Ric. Ric too is all dressed up and the two appear to be at Café Cherie, the in place in Port Charles these days.

At a small, intimate out of the way table Ric listens and looks with interest as she tells him he has to be able to use “that” to his advantage somehow.

Ava is still trying to get her inheritance back from Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) but someone has already purchased Wyndemere, so it would really be a mess to clean up.

Not to mention if Ric and Ava thought there was mob trouble at different times in years past, the new resident may be even worse!

GH Spoilers: Martin’s Confused

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) seems confused when someone seems to be accusing him of something-but what? He asks the person “what does that have to do with me?” Is he playing innocent about something or is someone trying to involve him in something he doesn’t want to get into?

Whatever it is, Martin looks very uncomfortable, like the time he was lightly coerced into delving into Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) financial records.

But that time he went along with it since Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) would be his grandniece, and she needed to be found.

General Hospital Spoilers: Danger, Lucy Coe, Danger!

Well, it looks like déjà vu is striking again as Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is again involving herself with a very dangerous man-only this time she doesn’t know it!

It’s a fair bet that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is even more dangerous than Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was and definitely just as ruthless.

This time, instead of playing an undercover spy to coax out a baddie’s secrets, Lucy appears to be on a date with Sidwell at Bobbie’s.

However, he seems to have his antennas of suspicion up at all of Lucy’s questions about him. Sidwell seems a bit mildly annoyed as he asks what else does she need to know about him?

GH Spoilers: Mama Bear Moments

Nina has a mama bear moment as she walks in on something in a hallway at the hospital. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) look like they have their claws out! Nina approaches Joss with a threatening look on her face, telling her menacingly, LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ALONE!

It looks like Mini-Carly was talking to Willow and her mother was coming out as they obviously are in an argument!

Earlier, Joss had lit into Willow for daring to show up at GH to “be there” for  Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) after taking his children and sleeping with his uncle!

General Hospital Spoilers: Rose-Colored Glasses OFF!

In the meantime, elsewhere in the hospital in a private area, Carly  continues arguing with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).

She can’t contain her rage over his having sexy time with Nina’s daughter when her son was burning up in a fire! She doesn’t believe a bit of his sympathy for his nephew which he tries so hard to be convincing about.

Carly looks extremely upset as she tells him now she sees him for who he really is. Her rose-colored glasses in regard to Drew are definitely now OFF!

GH Spoilers: Well-Meaning Advice

In the burn unit of GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) gives well-meaning advice to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) outside Michael’s hospital room, saying “that’s absolutely the best thing for him right now”.

Jason was in there with his nephew, unable to not want to protect the young man he’d partially raised as a baby when Carly had post-partum depression.

But Portia no doubt thinks he should leave Michael alone to rest, which at this time would go against Jason’s nature. Michael won’t be bothered by Jason sitting with him and making sure he stays safe, what with the suspicious deaths by digitalis in the hospital!

Jason lost Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) died the same way, Jason sure doesn’t want Michael to suffer the same fate!

General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha Gets Shocking News

In the meantime, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) appears to be with someone in the Metro Court when she gets shocking news! With a look made up of shock, sadness, and confusion, she asks what happened to Michael!

It could be anyone who has possibly decided to get Sasha out of the Quartermaine kitchen for a nice meal to break the news to her gently.

It’s obvious she’s with someone who’s very close to her and aware of her and Michael’s past. Nina seems to be at GH, so perhaps it’s Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) who relays the bad news.
