GH Spoilers Friday, February 7: Bad Situations, Spreading Lies, Questionable Delays

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, February 7 tease bad situations, spreading lies, and questionable delays.

Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) wants to stop making a bad situation worse, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wants to know who’s spreading lies, and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) asks about a questionable delay.

Bad Situations Made Worse?

At the hospital, Lucas talks with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and says they have to stop making a bad situation worse.

No doubt he’s still talking about Carly’s relationship with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) which  he is absolutely against.

He just became more suspicious when he and Carly stopped in at Bobbie’s, to find Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in conversation with Jack at a table.

Lucas doesn’t trust Brennan although Carly does, even where Josslyn is concerned.

She has no idea that Brennan is involving Josslyn in tracking down Cyrus and bringing him to justice!

Spreading Lies, Lots Of Questions!

Speaking of Cyrus, he is now at Turning Woods talking to Director Ferner (William Dixon).

He was banned from GH and interacting with patients there, and it looks like he may now be banned from doing so at Turning Woods as well.

Cyrus wants to know who’s been spreading lies about him-he knows he’s a suspect in the digitalis killings because he’s being treated like one.

Cyrus apparently thinks it’s his mission to put people out of their misery, but something doesn’t jive with that theory-no one he “helped” was on their deathbed!

Perhaps what Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) started there made some sense to Ferner?

Questionable Delays

Elsewhere, Sidwell is having lunch with an unlikely partner as he asks Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had anything to do with a delay.

It seems like the delay is connected to some kind of deal Drew and Sidwell have together, as bizarre as that seems to be!

Perhaps Sidwell has approached Drew as the congressman and wanted him to facilitate Sidwell’s “business” in Port Charles.

Drew looks puzzled as to why Sidwell would bring up Sonny’s name. It should be a red flag but Drew may not see it!

Doctor Visits

In the meantime, somewhere in California, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) asks Sonny some questions prior to his visit with the doctor.

Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was able to arrange a specialist who would be discreet, and far from Port Charles to assess his AFIB.

Natalia asks Sonny if he’s worried about what the doctor might tell him. At the present moment, he knows he should slow down but has no one to take over his mob business.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) declined, but tried to get Sonny to retire-Sonny was thinking about it, but who’s going to fill the gap?

Another Way

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is nowhere near giving up finding Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and bringing her back home to Port Charles. Even though it had been Charlotte’s choice to stay with her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) Lulu had hoped to convince her otherwise.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) listens with interest but worry is etched on her face, thinking of the possible danger.

Lulu is deadly serious when she tells Laura there may be another path to find her daughter. But even if she is found, will Charlotte be convinced to come back home and abandon her beloved Papa?
