GH Spoilers: Drew The New Shiloh Preying On Willow’s Vulnerability?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates reveal fan frustration is escalating regarding a particular character and his shocking descent into villainy. Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), once seen as a hero, has now found himself on the roster of antagonists in the eyes of numerous viewers!

While we certainly can’t overlook Willow Corinthos’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mistakes and her treatment of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), it’s important to consider how her past cult training may have influenced her decision-making.

Although she eventually recognized Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) for the threat he posed, she hasn’t yet come to the same realization about Drew.

In many ways, Drew has transformed into a more subtle version of Shiloh, presenting himself as a savior while hiding his true intentions.

 Willow currently views Drew as her champion, despite the chaos he has brought into her life.

It was awkward to see Drew leaning in to tell Willow that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)  was controlling her, especially since he has been the one manipulating Willow the most.

Willow still has a chance to turn her life around if she seeks professional help, but Drew has become utterly repugnant and seems beyond saving. Many fans are calling for his character to be written off, as he has deteriorated significantly.

While we understand Willow’s desperation to reunite with her children, it was Drew who manipulated her into using Michael’s medical proxy as leverage, effectively taking control of the situation.

He was so domineering that he barely allowed Willow to express herself and was reluctant to leave her alone with Carly.

It was actually Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who persuaded Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to find a compromise, yet Willow was quick to attribute all the credit to Drew instead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait Is Seeing Only What She Wants To See

Willow is seeing only what she wants to see where Drew is concerned, and the kicker is that he’s old enough to be her father. Middle life crisis is no excuse for his behavior, however, and he’s just coming off as a perv lusting for a pretty young thing.

However, viewers will recall that Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) actions, which led to the death of the only man Willow ever knew as a father could be part of it.

Is Willow attracted to such a much older man because she has a huge daddy-shaped hole in her heart, and she sees some weird mix of daddy and lover in Drew?

This actually happens with childhood sexual abuse victims sometimes, showing she needs to get into deep therapy!
