GH Spoilers: Did Tracy Just Just Drop An Anvil-Is Charlotte Really A Quartermaine?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may have just dropped an anvil hinting at a future major storyline.

Her son Dillon Quartermaine (most recently Robert Palmer Watkins) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) had a teenage romance-here’s how Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) could really be a Quartermaine!

Dillon Quartermaine Has Been Mentioned Recently

It had been ages since Tracy recalled she had a son besides Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). In fact, she often found herself discussing Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) far more than she ever mentioned Dillon.

Yet, she does have another son; his name, which recently resurfaced in her memory, is Dillon, and now seems like the perfect moment to bring him back to Port Charles.

Here’s the reason: Tracy (Jane Elliott) wasn’t exactly the best mother to Ned; she sent him off to boarding school at every chance she got.

She had promised herself to do better with Dillon-for a few years, she made an effort when he was young, but as he grew older, that commitment faded away.

Dillon Also Got Shipped Off But Returned To Port Charles As A Teenager

Many viewers remember Dillon’s teenage romance with Georgie Jones (Lindze Letherman) but fewer remember his romance with Lulu.

Dillon was sent away as a child and only reunited with his mother in Port Charles during his teenage years; it was there that he had a brief affair with Lulu.

This resulted in her teenage pregnancy and subsequent abortion-then, Dillon vanished for a few years, and when he returned, he became embroiled in some wild escapades with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).

He attempted to win Lulu back from her by then husband Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but his efforts fell flat, and now Lulu acknowledges her lingering feelings for Dante.  

However, Dante and Lulu’s relationship seems stagnant, as he had moved on with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) during Lulu’s coma, and now he is grieving her death.

What If Dillon Came Back-And WHAT About Charlotte?

If Dillon were to come back to town, he could serve as an enticing distraction- Dillon, presumably free as well, could be the spark they both need. Their youthful romance never had the chance to blossom, and with Lulu now single, the timing might just be right for a rekindling.

Get ready for a wild twist-remember when Helena Cassadine (Constance Powers) claimed she took Lulu’s egg to have Charlotte with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)?

What if that was a complete fabrication; Helena had a knack for bending the truth-what if it wasn’t Lulu’s egg at all, but rather the fetus that Lulu terminated?

Shocking, yes, but All My Children hinted at this possibility over two decades before Lulu’s abortion-and it’s entirely plausible that Helena could have pulled this off!
