GH Spoilers: Anna Learns The Truth About Cyrus’s Death And Cover Up And Is Put At Risk

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is bound and determined to find out the truth about the death of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and what happened to his body. Being removed from the case by ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) only ignited Anna’s fire more to uncover the truth.

Anna will stop at nothing to find out what really happened, as she believes that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is innocent, and that his alibi that he was with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) was valid.

Anna Devane Has The Means To Learns The Truth

Anna knows that Cyrus’s death was a professional job as was the cover up. She would quickly deduce that the WSB is somehow involved in the cover up and question Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

Jack, of course, would deny any WSB involvement to protect Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who killed Cyrus, and is training to become a WSB agent. Anna, being a former WSB agent herself, would know that Brennan isn’t being honest with her and start an investigation.

Anna Devane Looks Into Austin Gatling-Holt And Uncovers The Truth

It wouldn’t take Anna long to put the pieces of Austin Gatling-Holt’s death together, and uncover that someone had traced the cabin of his to Cyrus, and that person was investigating Cyrus’s role in the digitalis killings.

She would then quickly remember that Josslyn was poking around Cyrus’s apartment as she was looking into the death of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and would quickly put the pieces together. Josslyn killed Cyrus, and the WSB covered it up!

Anna Devane Confronts Jack Brennan With The Truth

After Anna figures out the truth, she would confront Brennan, who would vehemently deny it at first. Brennan would have to figure out how to get Anna from sharing her theory, and he would have to silence her to protect Josslyn, his new protégé.

Brennan would then tell Anna that her theory is true, but they need to keep protecting Josslyn.

Although reluctant at first, Anna would go along with the plan. But Brennan knows that Anna knowing the truth is a huge risk, and would have to figure out how to silence her.

Jack Brennan Offers Anna Devane Her Job Back

Brennan would arrange for Anna to get fired from the PCPD when he exposes that she was helping Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) prove his innocence, and Anna would be unemployed.

Brennan would ask her to return to the WSB in order to keep the truth about Cyrus’s death under wraps.

Anna refuses as she wants to leave that life behind, and Brennan tells her that he has no choice now. Anna is now at risk, and Brennan may have to take severe action to keep her quiet.

Anna Devane Mysteriously Disappears

Now that Anna has refused to return to the WSB, she would be at risk. Brennan would have her kidnapped and taken out of Port Charles for the foreseeable future, until she agrees to work for the WSB again, or the Cyrus Renault murder case goes cold, whichever comes first.

Anna has many enemies globally, and Brennan could easily hand her off to one of them in the meantime in order to buy some time.
