General Hospital Spoilers: Is Laura Wright Getting Married And Leaving GH?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that after the Tuesday, January 21 episode some fans are wondering if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is leaving the show.

That’s because Snarly she told everyone that she is accompanying her son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), to a burn care treatment center in Germany.

Michael was burned in an explosion meant for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at his dad’s penthouse.

At the hospital fans saw Carly, Sonny, and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) go over the treatment centers with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Poor Michael was awakened and asked where wanted to go.

Michael chose a cutting-edge place in Germany and Carly announced that she would accompany him, making it sound like she would be there for a while.

Sonny wanted to know how Carly arranged all this and fans immediately knew it was through Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure).

Turns out he got Michael into the facility and arranged for the plane ride there. So, what do you think he’ll want in return?

Tuesday was Chad Duell’s last episode, and there has been chatter online about that this means for Wright.

Let’s hear from the actress herself. On X Wright was asked if she’s getting married and leaving GH. She responded: “Nope not true at all” with her emoji shrugging its shoulders.

So while Carly will understandably want to be in Germany for Michael, it seems as simple as that. The rumors of her leaving appear to be just that.

Overall there is nothing in upcoming plots to indicate that Carly is leaving the show altogether, and with Wright’s denial it looks like we can put the speculation to bed. For now!

After all, Carly has a big family and daughters Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) need her.

For the time being Carly may criss cross the Atlantic as she helps Michael, but with Brennan sniffing around, and Michael’s kids to fight for, there is much for Carly to nosy around in back in PC.
