Who Is Jay Woods?

Jay is a new face for fans of Farmer Wants a Wife. He is a 25-year-old hay and cattle farmer. He is from Florence, Alabama. He has been around animals his entire life and loves being outdoors.

He can’t imagine his life without a woman who also loves animals and the outdoors. Jay is looking for a “kind-hearted, refined, confident woman who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty.”

On the show, Jay will choose eight women to date to determine which one he will decide to marry. These women have all left their big city lives in search of a farmer to call their own. Jay knows how hard it can be to live on a farm and is determined to find the right woman for him.

Jay’s Past and Future

When Jay first appeared on the show, viewers noticed that he didn’t look like a stereotypical farmer. He currently lives on 515 acres of land and enjoys spending time on this farm.

The only thing that he is missing is a wife and someone to share this time with. He sells most of the hay produced on the farm, but he has another job as well.

He is a sales rep and has told the cameras that he has to have more than one income to keep the farm afloat and enjoy life. He does his sales rep job remotely and he loves that because he loves spending time on the farm.

Jay graduated from Michigan University and got a master’s in management studies from Fuqua School of Business.

Jay wanted to play football at Duke University and while he was there, he was injured. This injury changed his path and now he just wants to focus on the farm and finding a wife.
