Experts Weigh In On Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Stance On A UK Return

This year started out as a very shaky one for the Sussexes, with Meghan Markle’s cooking show being delayed and the podcast series following suit.

But the trials of a new year definitely do not define the rest of the year.

Word on the street is that Harry and Meghan are eyeing up real estate in the UK once again – we’ve heard this story a dozen times before, haven’t we? However, sources are convinced that this time it’s going to come true.

I guess most of it depends on the outcome of his April trial, which is set to determine whether he gets his sweet taxpayer funded security back.

Prince Harry Wants To Have His Children Experience Life In the UK

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the UK in 2020 for life abroad. They eventually settled in California and has made it their primary residence since.

When they left, Archie was a year old. Lilibet arrived after they had moved and were comfortably settled into their new life in California.

Maybe Harry feels that all the chaos of the last few years has died down and now he wants his children to get to know his side of the family better.

Apart from a trip back to the UK in 2022 for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Sussex children have likely not set foot in the UK again.

Harry argues that it’s because he doesn’t feel that he can adequately keep them safe in his home country due to RAVEC stripping him of his security when he and his wife stepped down as working royals.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Bronte Coy noted of f Harry’s stance on a move back to the UK: “What he told ITV last year was that he will not bring Meghan or his two children to the UK, because he feels he can’t keep them safe without the level he used to have police protection he used to have.”

Prince Harry Reportedly Wants To “Lobby” the King To Intervene In His Home Office Case

Harry will head back into the court room against Home Office soon, but according to some chatter, he wants the King to back him up.

“There are reports, which hadn’t been confirmed or verified, that suggest that Prince Harry is essentially trying to lobby his father to intervene in his court case he’s got going against the home office,” the source said.

“But of course, the king is not going to do that, because he cannot be seen to be involved in any court cases in the United Kingdom.”
