Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) next romance could be with a recast Molly Jonas (Molly Burnett) . This comes from a leaker who’s had a strong history of being right-but, we shall see.
Brady’s Dumped Again
Once again, we find Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) single and heartbroken, and honestly, he deserves better—he’s far too attractive to be without love. So, let’s explore who might be his next romantic interest, especially considering a significant clue from our favorite insider.
We’ll take a closer look at the unfortunate situation of Brady’s love life and ponder whether he might rekindle a past relationship.
On Thursday, April 3rd, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) bid farewell to Salem. Tamara confirmed that she completed her filming in July 2024, and her final episode aired this week.
Coincidentally, her departure coincided with the day EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was shot, which certainly raises some concerns.
Ava Cleared A Path For Her Exit By Breaking Up With Brady
Ava had already paved the way for her departure by ending her relationship with Brady Black.
It became clear to her that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and their daughter Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) would never allow her and Brady to find peace.
Ava is determined to keep Brady from being in conflict with his child. Moreover, young Rachel was taken by Ava with the assistance of her unstable grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle).
EJ and Kristen played a role in her abduction-to make matters worse, the elder Rachel even hid in Ava’s room and attempted to kill her.
Brady’s Single And Might Be Ready To Mingle Again
Brady’s girlfriend has reached her limit and decided to leave town, leaving him single once again.
Meanwhile, Kristen is eager to reconnect with him, but Brady recently confided in his sister Belle Black (Martha Madison) that he views Kristen as an addiction he needs to overcome.
While Belle is dealing with her own issues related to EJ DiMera, Brady remains resolute in his decision to never reunite with Kristen.
He has made his stance clear to both Kristen and their daughter Rachel, and it seems likely that he will remain committed to this choice. If he’s not good at staying in a relationship, at least he’s a good dad.
Potential Romances For Brady Black
Brady’s romantic prospects-uUnfortunately, the outlook isn’t promising; another one of his former partners, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), seems to be permanently out of the picture unless she is recast.
Plus, she’s currently involved with his brother-it’s hard to imagine Arianne Zucker returning to Days, especially while she’s in the midst of a lawsuit against the show.
Additionally, another significant figure in Brady’s life, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), has also left, occurring during a wave of layoffs affecting female cast members, reportedly orchestrated by the now-ousted producer Albert Alarr.
There were rumors that Chloe might make a comeback this fall, possibly with her sister Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) baby, seeking the child’s father. But that seems more like speculation than a solid plan.
Theresa’s A No Go
Brady’s former partner, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien), recently returned to town but didn’t stick around for long; she quickly headed to California due to her mother’s cancer relapse.
Once again, Brady is not interested in rekindling their relationship, as their dynamic tends to be toxic-it appears that Theresa is gone for good, at least for the time being.
Meanwhile, Brady’s other exes, Madison James (Sarah Joy Brown) and Ariana Hernandez (Lindsay Hartley), have both passed away, eliminating them as potential future partners for the Basic Black heartthrob.
Emily O’Brien will reprise her role as Gwen Rizczech in July, and although she and Brady don’t share a past, she certainly seems like the kind who could easily draw him in. But her resemblance to Theresa would be a little hard to handle in a pairing with Brady.
A Blast From The Past?
A recent leak suggests that a woman from Brady’s romantic history will soon make her way back to Salem. According to our source, Days has brought on an actress from another soap opera, sparking speculation about who this might be.
One name that immediately comes to mind is Kelly Monaco from General Hospital, who is currently available. For those unfamiliar with GH, she portrayed Sam McCall for two decades until the show made headlines by unexpectedly firing her and killing off her character.
This ignited a wave of backlash from fans-if Kelly Monaco is indeed the actress being hired, it could be a major win for ratings.
Who Else?
One option is Noelle Curtis, originally portrayed by Samantha Barrows, who is Sarah Horton’s half-sister and the daughter of Liz Chandler. Another potential recast is AnnaLynne McCord, now known as Cat Greene.
Many fans want Chad DiMera’s soulmate to return to Salem, but I think that’s unlikely since Billy Flynn has left Days of Our Lives for a new role on Young and the Restless.
He will be on screen for several more months and will appear on both shows simultaneously due to the 8-month tape-to-air delay for the Peacock soap. In a way, AnnaLynne makes sense as a recast of another character if they want to keep her-unless they recast Chad!
Noelle Or Melanie?
I’m particularly intrigued by the third recast option that was brought to my attention, as it connects to Brady Black and other current key characters in the soap. The final option mentioned by my source was Melanie Jonas.
Out of the three recast possibilities, Melanie stands out as my favorite because of her past relationships with Chad and her marriage to Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).
Additionally, her last significant storyline on Days, before Molly Burnett left the role, involved Brady Black. They fell in love and got engaged, but Theresa stepped in and caused trouble.
