Rafe Has Done Some Pretty Un-Rafe Like Things Lately
Even though we’re sure-or we think we can be sure-that this is really Rafe and not Arnold Feniger, (Galen Gering) Rafe has done some pretty un-Rafe like things lately!
For one thing, right now Rafe is not a SPD cop, although there was some talk about him and the ISA before his unfortunate injury and coma.
He was so upset about Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) keeping the ugly truth from him about her one-night stand with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) he broke up with her!
He planted a bug on a statue inside the DiMera mansion, and did another un-Rafe like thing; he talked to the patriarchal portrait!
He muttered up at the image of the late Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) he was going to put away his sociopathic son for good!
EJ Was Shot-And Now In A Coma
It was Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) who found EJ on the floor with blood coming out of his chest wound, it looks like whoever did do it was a crack shot!
The shooter shot him pretty close to the heart if not in it, and once he did get in the hospital Chad was there when he had a seizure.
EJ is now in a coma so he won’t be able to say who shot him, but it was someone he knew-because he barely reacted until he saw the gun.
It must have been someone he never would have expected had a target on his back-which leads us to the question; why did Rafe return to remove the bug?
Rafe Didn’t Want The Police To Find The Bug On Their Own-So He Won’t Turn It In
Rafe obviously didn’t want the police to find the bug on their own-so he won’t turn it in. He wanted to collect something on it that he could take EJ down with and put him away for the rest of his life.
There is a valid point that if Rafe was doing this on his own and not for a law enforcement authority, that it may just be borderline illegal! Perhaps Rafe intended to use it to blackmail or leverage EJ-that sure isn’t Rafe-like, is it?
Chances are, if Rafe is not totally changed to someone un-Rafe like, he’s removing the bug to protect someone. Question is who—our bet’s on Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) or Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jiminez)!
