DOOL Spoilers: Julie Versus Melinda-Tells Paulina To Fire Her As DA, Necklace Is Stolen Goods?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease it may come down to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) versus Melinda Trask (Tina Huang)!

Julie will spot her grandma Alice Horton’s (Frances Reid) stolen necklace on her neck, and she’ll confront her to return it!

Doug Williams III’s Been Trying To Get It Back

Doug Williams III’s (Peyton Meyer) been trying to get it back, once Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) finally tracked down who bought it. Doug got Leo to fence it but then felt guilty and wanted to get it back, after he finally paid off the loan sharks that he’d owed. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) even offered to help him get it, even if they had to steal it back!

But as it turns out, they quite unexpectedly found the necklace-on Salem District Attorney Melinda Trask’s neck! But, unable to convince her to return it, Julie now spots it on her neck!

Melinda Claims She Got The Necklace By Legal Means

Melinda claims she got the necklace by legal means, and she’s not giving it back-although of course, she won’t reveal her source.

Julie can’t believe her eyes and even though she tells the DA that it’s her grandmother’s stolen necklace, Melinda doesn’t believe her-or maybe she just doesn’t want to!

Receiving stolen goods and being advised the goods are stolen and not returning them to the rightful owner isn’t a good look for a District Attorney.

But it’s not the first time Melinda has done questionable, even illegal things just to get a win-and keeping this gorgeous necklace to her, is a substantial win! Julie knows she’s going to have to do something drastic to reclaim Alice’s necklace.

Julie Takes Extreme Action!

Julie sees she’ll have to fight fire with fire when it comes to getting her family heirloom back from the determined DA.

She goes to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry, and advises her Melinda is in possession of her grandmother’s stolen necklace and she won’t give it back.

Soon Abe Carver (James Reynolds) arrives and they all three talk together; Julie convinces Paulina that Melinda needs a good old fashioned scandal to force her to do what’s right!

Paulina quickly gets the ball rolling, although they may be short a district attorney for a little while-she supposes she could appoint Belle Black (Martha Madison) if she’ll take the job.

Melinda soon is answering lots of uncomfortable questions about where the necklace came from and if that doesn’t do it, Julie has some more dirty Melinda laundry to air!
