Gwen Rizczech Returns

Fans have already heard that Gwen is returning at some point in 2025. The news broke just as fans were dealing with Theresa Donovan’s (also played by O’Brien) exit.

While details about Gwen’s return are being kept under wraps, she has had contact with Chad since relocating overseas.

In fact, Gwen and Chad had made a deal over the phone regarding The Spectator at one time. It doesn’t mean they have a good dynamic, but are at the very least, on speaking terms, which is interesting.

Julie Williams’ Reluctant Acceptance

More recently, Chad has urged Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to forgive Cat over the Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) scheme.

Julie was also grieving Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). Julie took Chad’s advice and sought some professional help for her grief.

After the first visit, Julie was willing to put her anger toward Cat aside. That doesn’t mean Julie will approve of a relationship between Chad and Cat. For the time being, it seems Julie will tolerate Cat and Chad co-existing in the same town.

Chad DiMera’s Hidden Feelings

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chad and Cat do keep running into each other. With Cat’s new job as Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) receptionist, she might run into Chad more often.

Plus, Chad clearly likes Cat and she feels the same way. Cat does realize that with everything she did, it would be a lot for Chad to overcome. Soaps are all about making the impossible happen, though!

During a recent episode, Cat admitted her feelings about Chad to her little sister, Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia).

Although Felicity sweetly tried to get Chad and Cat to share a dessert, they parted ways. Chad’s smile indicated that he wasn’t totally opposed to the idea of sharing a sweet treat with Cat, though!

Cat Greene’s Romantic Complication

If Cat and Chad actually become a couple, could Gwen’s return complicate things? Chad and Gwen don’t exactly have the best dynamic. On the other hand, Gwen might have grown and changed a lot since she’s last been in Salem.

With distance and time, could Gwen and Chad actually be drawn to each other? That would certainly send Julie’s blood pressure skyrocketing!
