DOOL Spoilers: Clyde’s Coma Awakening: Bad News for Chad & Cat Romance?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Clyde Weston (James Read) getting shot and falling into a coma right before he was about to offer closure to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was awful timing. As fans know, while Chad is trying to move forward, the lingering thought of where his late wife’s body might be will continue to haunt him until he finds out the truth.

Obviously, the DOOL writers placed Clyde in a coma so that they could leave the door open for a return, so could he awaken at the worst possible time?

Chad DiMera Is Fighting His Feelings Right Now

Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) has revealed the feelings she has for Chad. There was a cute scene between her and Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia) recently where she confided to her sister about how much she liked Chad.

Of course, because Cat paraded around as Abigail for a while there, it’s been hard for Chad to be friends with Cat, let alone date the woman, even though fans can tell he’s caught some feelings too.

It’ll take some time, but eventually, he’ll come around. After all, it wasn’t really Cat’s fault for placing the wool over Chad’s eyes.

She was only following Clyde’s orders, all in an effort to save her mom, Catharina Greene (Susan Elena Matus). Still, when Chad finally does give in to temptation, will the Chat romance suffer another obstacle?

Clyde Wakes Up, Just as Cat & Chad Fall In Love

In typical soap opera fashion, there’s a good chance that Cat and Chad will fall in love, only for Clyde to wake up and tell Chad that his wife, Abigail, is still alive.

Of course, Chad may be hesitant to believe Clyde and he may also refrain from going on a wild goose chase. After all, the last time he did so, Clyde duped him by making it seem as if Cat was Abby.

Still, even if Chad doesn’t take Clyde’s bait, simply the idea that Abigail could be alive will undeniably place a wedge in his romance with Cat – regardless of whether it’s true or not.
