DOOL Spoilers: Chanel’s Miracle, Adoption Rejection & Surprise Pregnancy?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) was advised not to get pregnant again.

That is what led Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to inquire about adopting Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) baby.

However, the 60th-anniversary promo clip showed Chanel holding her belly, indicating she gets pregnant again.

Kayla Johnson’s Warning

Chanel and Johnny got pregnant once before. However, Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) radioactive rescue risked both Chanel and the unborn child.

While it seemed the baby was unaffected by the rescue mission, Chanel later lost the child. Moving forward, Chanel and Johnny were told to wait six months before trying again.

Sophia Choi’s Baby

Chanel went to get checked up after six months. However, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) said it wasn’t a good time according to the test results. Chanel and Johnny started to wonder if it was a sign that they shouldn’t try for a baby at all.

At the same time, Sophia was at the hospital being diagnosed with round ligament pain. At the time, Johnny and Chanel talked to Tate Black (Leo Howard). That is when Johnny and Chanel thought maybe it was fate.

Amy Choi’s Rejection

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Johnny and Chanel might hope to win Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) over. However, Amy has really strict standards and it seems like nobody will be good enough to raise her grandchild.

At first, it seemed like Amy was trying to force Sophia and Tate to live with the consequences of their actions. More recently, I’m starting to wonder if Amy just wants the baby for herself.

Chanel Dupree-DiMera’s Surprise Pregnancy?

Perhaps Amy’s rejection will lead to a silver lining for JANEL. Even though Chanel and Johnny were told now isn’t the time to conceive, could they end up with a surprise pregnancy? After all, it wouldn’t be the first time that Chanel got pregnant despite taking precautions.

In a scene during the 60th-anniversary promo clip shows Johnny lunging at EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerrigel) with his fist. Apparently, Johnny learns the details about his conception. Chanel is seen briefly with her hand over a swollen belly.

While it appears to be a baby bump, it could also just be the dress, lighting, and the way Chanel is standing. At the same time, it is time for Johnny and Chanel to start their journey as parents.
