Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates reveal a new Rachel Black will be on the show starting April 24. Alice Halsey will replace Finley Rose Slater in the role, who had played Rachel since 2021.

Halsey, a talented young actress, embarked on her acting journey at just 7 years old, captivating audiences.

Her first role was as the brilliant Madeline Zott, the daughter of Elizabeth Zott (Brie Larson), in the praised Apple TV+ limited series Lessons in Chemistry.

Following that, she made appearances on Night Court and showcased her versatility by playing twin sisters Kat and Ellie in Disney Jr.’s animated series Kindergarten: The Musical.

Her IMDB profile reveals that “Alice enjoys reading, writing, drawing, singing, playing the piano, spending time with friends and her older sister, and bringing joy to others through laughter.” She sounds like a great match for the sometimes complicated character of Rachel.

DOOL Spoilers – A Brief History Of Rachel Isabella DiMera Black

Rachel Isabella DiMera Black is the cherished daughter of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

She also has an older half-brother, Tate Black (Leo Howard); her name pays homage to her grandmothers: Rachel Blake, (Pat Delany), and Isabella Toscano, (Staci Greason).

Kristen’s longing for a child led her to orchestrate a plan with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to acquire the fetus that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) intended to terminate.

However, Sarah later had a change of heart and chose to keep her baby; in the midst of prepping Kristen for the procedure, Rolf discovered that Kristen was expecting her own child.

Brady later remarked that Rachel inherited Kristen’s striking eyes and has a distinctive birthmark on her neck, which Kristen fondly recalled as a heart-shaped mark.

Rachel’s journey began in the hospital, where she was welcomed into the world with the assistance of Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) and nurse Haley Chen (Thia Megia).

However, her life took a dramatic turn when Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), under the orders of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), orchestrated a switch at birth. Raised as Mackenzie Horton, Rachel’s existence remained a secret until her parents uncovered the truth.

Desperate to keep her, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) kidnapped Rachel, and they made their way to the Paris apartment of her cousin Abigail and Chad DiMera (Marci Miller, Billy Flynn).

Meanwhile, Kristen, Rachel’s mother, cleverly tracked down their location using Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder) phone.
