Deavan Clegg From 90 Day Fiance Explains Her Social Media Absence

Deavan Clegg first appeared on TLC’s 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, and she became active on social media. However, fans noticed a drop-off in posts. So, on Instagram, on February 27, she explained what going on. Read on for more details.

The Mom Of Three Went Quiet

The 90 Day Fiance star was very vocal on social media, even when she was still with South Korean Jihoon Lee. However, she dwindled in her activity not long after their son, Taeyang overcame his long fight against blood cancer. Fortunately, his older half-sister, Drascilla helped encourage the very sick little boy, as did Deavan’s new man, Topher Park.

Perhaps the arrival of a new baby by Topher Park, combined with the stress of the illness of Taeyang made Deavan Clegg feel the need to take a social media break. However, from what she said in her latest post, it’s got something to do with weight loss and fitness. The 90 Day Fiance alum already lost a ton of weight in 2024, not that she was ever giving Tammy Slaton competition. 

The Announcement

Posting up a slide on Instagram, the reality TV star told her TLC fans:

Taking a break for a month to follow my fitness journey. I’ll update my stories, but posts will pause. Appreciate your support and see you soon.

In her comments, Deavan Glegg added to her explanation, noting, “No worries nothing bad! Just been really putting my focus on getting healthy and getting back into shape!” Plus, the caption added, “On a mission to become the best version of myself, physically and mentally! 17 pounds gone, but I’m just getting started.”

Fans React To The News

With over half a million Instagram followers, and more than 100K YouTube subscribers, Clegg became something of an influencer. However, she started scaling back her YouTube about two years ago. Naturally, the fact that she promised this will be a temporary break, made her followers feel relieved. Here are some of their reactions:

One or two people trolled Clegg, and one of them accused her of using Ozempic, while another compared her to Darcy Silva with physical enhancement, However, not many people have it in them to crush a mom who watched her baby fight for his life.
