Daniel Goddard Returns To Acting: Back To Y&R Or Beyond The Gates?

Daniel Goddard has recently announced that he is returning to acting. Daniel’s exited his former role on The Young and The Restless in 2017, could he be joining The Gates?

Daniel has been missing from the daytime scene for some time now. However, with The Gates premiering soon, Daniel could be joining the cast.

Daniel recently got dressed up for a gig, but there was not many details released about what he is planning to do.

Some speculate that Daniel could be returning to The Young And The Restless, his old stomping ground. However, there is another possibility that could be open for him as well. Perhaps Daniel is trying something new and joining The Gates.

Goddard teased his acting comeback on Instagram. Surprise, Surprise, he captioned his video, “o I got a phone call the other day from someone that I highly admire and respect and they asked me if I could take a look at something. So here I am walking in the rain, but the only problem is, this script is getting wet!”

Goddard later posted another video in his suit and tie. It was set to Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” (feat. Jay Z). Goddard chose to tag his post #NewBeginnings.

This has fans wondering if Daniel has taken on a whole new project instead of returning to Y&R. Is Daniel making his new Beginning with the newest soap to premiere on TV?

Goddard played the role of Cane Ashby from 2007 to 2017 and is best known for that role. Goddard also hasn’t had an acting role since leaving Y&R.

Of course, some fans have suggested that Goddard could be coming to The Bold And The Beautiful as Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) father, the man yet to be discovered.

Beyond the Gates is set in Maryland outside Washington DC. The show centers around the Duprees, the definition of Black royalty.

There are lots of secrets and scandal to be uncovered behind these walls. The soap is set in the gated community of Fairmont Estates. This is the first soap since Generations to feature a prominently African American cast.

Goddard could have other possibilities in the works, however, joining Beyond The Gates could certainly be a new beginning for Goddard.

A change of scenery could be good after all of his time away from acting and Goddard would certainly fit in with any cast. Will we soon see Goddard on Beyond the Gates?
