Chase Chrisley from Chrisley Knows Best claimed on social media this week, that he’s proudly alcohol free. After a whole month of sobriety, it seems that his clash with a manager in a bar in January made him rethink his life.
Gambling, Break Ups, Partying & Alcohol
Chase never held back when it came to partying with his friends. Pranking, hijinks, and gambling with his grandma, Nanny Faye, seemed to be his favorite things to do. When his mom and dad, Julie and Todd Chrisley, were sent to prison for fraud and tax-related offenses, he seemed morose and sad. Perhaps he drank more.
The altercation in a bar that happened in January alleged he was drunk and belligerent. However, he denied it. But, behind the scenes, maybe he had a rethink. Or, his sister Savannah told him to change his ways. She works ceaselessly for her parents’ release from prison. And, ugly public scenes won’t do her campaign much good.
A Month Sober
On Monday this week, u/Historical_Top_3614 took to Reddit and shared a post by Chase from Threads. In the text of his photo, he wrote, “Almost one month alcohol free, feeling better than I have years. God is good, #sober #sobriety.”
In the comments section, reality TV fans arrived with mixed feelings about it. After all, many of them hate that Todd and Julie Chrisley committed white-collar crimes. One critic wrote, “Fake teeth and bloated face. Another Chrisley product of toxic parents that cared more about themselves than their children.”
However, others seemed happy that Chase faces his problems. An understanding follower wrote, “God bless Chase. I’m pulling for him. Addiction is one of the hardest and painful life experiences anyone can go through.”

Other people also hoped that the future might look brighter for Chase Chrisley. Empathetic, one of the contributors in the discussion noted in part:
I think I have some empathy for him because I suspect he was raised in an environment fighting for who he was as a person under a super toxic narcissist. Sure he comes off as an obnoxious little person who appeared to be cocky and thinking he was ‘joe cool’ but people who act like that are trying to establish who they think they are. I suspect the drinking was just the symptom of a very, very insecure and immature young man.
Reddit can be a very toxic place, there’s no denying that. But mostly, even critics will give people a chance to try again. Hopefully, Chase Chrisley sticks with his new direction.
