Charles Spencer Shares Family News Following His Support of Prince Harry

Prince Harry may be at odds with most sides of his father’s family, but he’s still chill with certain members of his mother’s family. Most notably Charles Spencer – one of his most loyal and outspoken supporters.

This time round, he may not be throwing his weight behind his nephew in America, but he’s doing something adorable all the same. He’s got a fantastic new addition to the family in the way of a puppy.

Charles Spencer Reveals A “Darling” Is Joining Him For A New Life At Princess Diana’s Childhood Home

A battle may currently be brewing in court between the Earl and his ex, but it’s never not a good time to buy a puppy.

The 60-year-old shared the happy news, along with an adorable picture of the new guy, with his 258,000 followers on Instagram. In the snap, we see the young German Shepherd poking his head out of the black bag in which he was carried in.

The caption simply featured the word “new” alongside an emoji of a dog.

The last time he adopted a dog was in April and by then, he already had four-legged friends. He announced the news at the time by sharing a snap from a puppy shelter.

Charles said: “One of these darlings is joining me for a new life at Althorp in a few days. Can’t wait!”

Three months later, one of his older Labradors named Otis was put down.

In July, the Earl shared a pic of the dog during his final days, along with the words, “Farewell to Otis, our wonderful Labrador, who had to be put to sleep last night. He was nearly 13. Otis will now join his father, Karoo, and grandmother, Ella, in a beautiful spot in the Park at @althorphouse.”

This is coming after Earl Spencer’s ex Countess Karen Spencer hired Prince Harry’s lawyer David Sherborne and sued the Duke over his mode of breakup.

“He did this by text message,” she wrote as per the court documents.

It continued, “Having given up her life in the United States, in order to live in the middle of rural Northamptonshire and dedicate herself to sorting out the Althorp Estate business, as well as having a child, the news was hideous for Lady Spencer.”
