Big Ed Brown left 90 Day Fiance full of excitement about his Argentinian wine farm, but he fell ill. Recent social media updates suggest that something is going on with his health. Is he chronically unwell? Recently, he was referred to a specialist.

Illness Started In Early January

Everything seemed fine for the man with short neck syndrome after his TLC contract ended, and rumors about a Netflix show arrived. While his critics didn’t think that they wanted another show, nothing new clarified whether that would happen on Netflix or not. However, he’s been unwell.

Big Ed Brown didn’t comment on the news that his ex, Liz Woods revealed. She’d been on chemotherapy for her cancer diagnosis. Maybe he was too focused on his own health. Giving fans advice from the hospital on January 7, he reminded people not to neglect a cold. He ignored his cold, and it became bronchitis.

Chronically Unwell, Back In The ER?

Since the bronchitis advice, the TLC alum reappeared talking about illness on January 9. When he talked about worry and prayers on January 26, he still sounded a bit hoarse. However, on January 26, he seemed fine and talked about filming his new fixer-upper show.

A week later, the reality TV star was back at the hospital. This time, he sounded worse than the first ER visit. Sadly, Big Ed said on Instagram that he’s still got “bronchitis,” but got “flu” on top of it. Concerned followers heard that he was also getting a CT scan and “bloodwork.” done.

The 90 Day Fiance star reported back to his fans a few hours later, and it seemed that he might have a condition that could mean he’s chronically unwell. In his reel, Big Ed said, in part:

I’m pretty much wiped out… I’m to see a Pulmonologist this week because there’s somehting going on with my lungs. The doctor described it as my ‘lungs are angry” at me. I’m like ‘why would my lungs be angry at me?” She said, ‘disease.”

“Angry lungs is not a medical condition but rather a colloquial way to describe the impact of anger and hostility on lung function.” Citing research, Live Science reported:

…Hostility and anger have been associated with cardiovascular disease, asthma, and death…Changes in mood can have short term effects on the lungs, the scientists said, and it might all have to do with anger and hostility altering neurological and hormonal processes, which in turn might disturb immune system activity, producing chronic inflammation…

Time will tell if Big Ed Brown suffers from any of those potentially chronically unwell conditions.
