Beyond The Gates Spoilers: The Shocking Twist About Eva’s True Parentage

Beyond The Gates spoilers indicate that Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is seeking revenge against Dr. Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) and his family because he is the biological father of her daughter, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) and that Ted abandoned them.

As a cover, Leslie and Eva are pretending that Eva is her surrogate daughter, and that Eva’s biological mother is dead, when in fact Eva is actually Leslie’s daughter. Ted may or may not know that he has another daughter out there, as we still don’t know the full story.

There are a lot of things that we do not know yet. However, Ted may not actually be Eva’s true father. What if Eva’s true father is not Ted and Leslie only thinks that he is Eva’s father?

Leslie Thomas Believes That Ted Richardson is Eva Thomas’s Father

While it is possible that Leslie was with someone else other than Ted at the time that Eva was conceived, Leslie only believes that Ted is Eva’s father.

However, Leslie must have spent time with Ted, and had a relationship with him, and it most likely was when Ted was married to his wife, Dr. Nicole Richardson (Daphne Duplaix).

It may have just been a one-night stand, or they could have had a brief relationship. Leslie really fell hard for this man, and was heartbroken when he left her. She later found out that Ted was married, and went back to his wife.

She has felt the betrayal ever since, which is why she is now going after the Richardson family. But could Leslie be wrong? What if Ted was not Ted?

Ted Richardson Had An Identical Twin Brother

We know that Ted had a brother who passed away, who is the father of his nephew Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman). What if this brother of Ted’s is not only his brother, but his identical twin brother?

This identical twin brother may have been posing as Ted while he was with Leslie to protect himself as he also was married at time or for some other reason, and Leslie was never the wiser. Leslie truly believes that Ted is Eva’s father, but he is not, his twin brother is.

This would explain it if Ted doesn’t seem to know Leslie. Perhaps they never even met! Eva would be Andre’s sister, and Leslie would be blaming Ted for no reason!
