B&B Spoilers: Will Hope Listen To A Word Of What Daphne Has Said?

The confrontation between Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilarie) over Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was rather explosive on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After weeks of slinking around Forrester Creations, Daphne finally shared a kiss with Carter as Hope looked on through the cracked open office door.

Sure, Daphne initiated the intimate moment, but Carter kissed her back and certainly wasn’t protesting. The two have been inching closer not just because Daphne is tagged as “irresistible,” but because she has done that one thing that Hope isn’t doing: she is listening to Carter.

If nothing else, Daphne is honest, at least in this situation. When Hope came barreling at her, saying that she saw everything, Daphne owned it.

She apologized for kissing Carter and said that she knew that it was wrong. No explanations, no casting blame, Daphne took her lumps.

She wasn’t going to argue with Hope about that much. Hope won that round but seemed to miss the real point overall.

During their confrontation, Daphne spelled out for Hope what everyone else is also seeing, Carter is not happy. He has had two successful launches with Hope and should feel accomplished and over the moon.

Instead, he feels guilty because he has betrayed his best friend and the family that hired him in the first place.

It may be a victory of sorts, but it comes at a cost, at least for Carter. He has told this to Hope. He has gone so far as to suggest giving the company back because of his guilt, and she has responded with blind rage.

Granted, Hope was treated horribly by the Forresters and has every reason to not want to go back to how things were, but she isn’t really hearing him. Daphne pointed this out too, and Hope didn’t give it even a second of consideration.

Daphne didn’t get to Carter because of her beauty, she got to him because she saw the man that he was before he got with Hope, before the Forrester takeover. She paid attention to his internal struggle, the one Hope was dismissing.

Will Hope realize her mistake before it’s too late? Even if Daphne leaves town, she and Carter will still crash and burn if things stay as they are between them. What do you think will happen next?
