Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) plan to talk some sense into his old pal Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) failed miserably as soon as Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) walked into Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) office.
She took one look at a crying Carter in Ridge’s arms and declared that Carter was with her now and they knew what they were doing.
They were going to take Forrester Creations to new heights even if they had no real right to do so.
Carter fell right back in line listening to Hope, but also admitted they may need more than just new perfume and jewelry to make the new FC a success.

They also needed designers for their fashion design house and nobody wanted to work for them.
If Ridge heard that part of the conversation, he might feel a little more confident that he could get Carter to do the right thing without resorting to dirty tricks, but dirty tricks are a family tradition.
Now, Ridge is finally ready to give in and allow Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) to get to work.
He was against Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) idea to have Daphne seduce Carter away from Hope but now he feels it is necessary.
He gives Daphne her marching orders and she is all too happy to take them. She may even veer away from seduction as she also tries to reason with Carter. She sees an opening and is ready to take it.
Ridge also thinks that the launch of Daphne’s new fragrance line is the perfect opportunity to complete their mission.
Hope won’t even know what hit her, but could become more vengeful when she sees what a weak man Carter is.
He claims to love her and only her just as Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) had, but she is about to be betrayed.
Ridge and Steffy’s big plan just may backfire if Hope’s thirst for revenge is too great. Watch out Forresters!
