The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) is over the moon about her realized granddaughter.
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) has successfully bonded with the one person in the world who she knew would protect her.
With a soaped tongue planted firmly in cheek, luna means moon in Latin. Seeing Sheila jump over the referenced moon after John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) daughter revealed the gigantic genetic news was a watershed moment.
Sheila has already faced the wrath of her husband, with Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) reaction previously eclipsed by Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) response.
There is no doubt that this pairing of B&B’s legendary villain and the current generation’s bad girl is inspired and that the use of the word eclipse was another lunar reference.
John Finn Finnegan Sparked This Reality
Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) was wrong but also right. Two things can be true simultaneously as the daytime cliché goes.
Finn was intent on telling his wife about Luna being his child. Poppy pleaded with him not to open this box. She was wrong to have never confirmed her daughter’s paternity and to have denied Finn a part in his daughter’s life from the start of it.
However, Poppy was doing more than protecting herself. What she’s said about wanting to protect Finn from shame and potentially interfering with his medical career seemed heartfelt.
So, Finn’s choice to make Luna’s paternity public knowledge was the flame that ignited what will play out indefinitely in this version of Los Angeles, California.
Sheila Carter Sharpe Won’t Back Down
Sheila was fully restrained when Deacon read the riot act to her. She understood where he was coming from because she cared about the two Il Giardino employees Luna willfully killed.
However, Sheila is unlikely to keep her emotions in check when dealing with others regarding the subject of her granddaughter. She’s likely to use tough love with Finn, who has chosen to reject Luna because of Steffy’s feelings.
Brown’s character wanted to reconcile with Steffy. But Wood’s character has no use for Sheila and, as Finn and the viewers know, she has no use for Luna.
Luna Nozawa Takes The Finnegan Name
Luna remains at odds with her mother but wants to develop a relationship with the man she long thought was her cousin.
Finn feels deeply for Luna in a way comparable to his connection to Sheila. So, it’s not far-fetched to believe that she will eventually replace Nozawa with Finnegan.
However, Sheila put a bullet in him and tried to end Steffy’s life with the same gun. While Luna wanted Steffy dead, she didn’t go about it in the same way as her grandmother.
Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) projects as the next family flashpoint. She threatens Luna about staying away from Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and also makes physical contact with the woman who offered herself to him.
Surely, Steffy will learn about her cousin’s conflict and use that as a reason to clamp down on Finn, who will continually be pressured to pick which of his family members he can associate with.
