B&B Spoilers: Luna’s Impulse Control Issues Force Parent Meeting

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is remorseful. The audience finally learned that she isn’t a total monster and does want to make amends.

John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) confirmed through two paternity tests that he is Luna’s father. He’s outraged that her mother, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), robbed him of knowing the truth.

He rightly feels that Poppy’s actions wrecked Luna’s life, led to the deaths of two innocent men, and forced him into an impossible position.

Finn must tell his wife, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), that besides Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) being his mother, Luna is his daughter. So, not one but two women he’s related to tried to kill his wife.

One Of The Great Reveals In Recent Times

Some savvy fans might have considered Luna, the villain during the period in the plot when the killer was unknown. But it’s fair to suggest that most audience members did not have Yamada’s character on their list.

After the reveal, Luna appeared to be soulless. She killed the man she believed was her father in cold blood and then murdered another man she barely knew because he read letters that Tom Starr (Clint Howard) wrote to Poppy, claiming paternity.

Past scenes where Luna was alone with her thoughts were scary. She was happy to have fooled Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) into believing Poppy was a double murderer. Luna convinced herself that Bill would want a romantic relationship with her instead.

Luna Nozawa Knows What She’s Doing

Poppy visited Luna in jail several weeks after her daughter was sentenced. Viewers saw the calculating killer pretend to apologize to her mother and claim she couldn’t control herself and then shift to a self-satisfied gaze.

She believed her mother bought the act while getting information from her. Luna was most interested in knowing if Poppy and Bill split, which they had.

Yamada has delivered stellar performances in this role. She’s made fans despise Luna and feel sorry for her, which is the mark of a strongly written character and solidly delivered performances by the actor portraying her.

Poppy Nozawa And John Finn Finnegan Are Searching

Poppy and Finn aren’t going to search and not find Luna. Soap fans know that the drama needs to build further, with the understanding that this half-hour steamer does have the reputation of propelling some storylines more quickly than expected.

Luna does regret her criminal actions and wants to seek eventual redemption. But she still lacks impulse control, as proven by her reckless actions when eavesdropping on Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace).

So, it’s reasonable to believe she will seek contact with Poppy or Finn without knowing he is her father. However, if she confirms her paternity, the odds of her wanting to make contact with the man she believed was her cousin improve exponentially.
