B&B Spoilers: Hope’s Loss Is Liam’s Opportunity – Carter Moves Forward

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) thought her bold personal decision cemented a good life on multiple fronts.

But that heavy gamble appears to be backfiring on her. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) does have feelings for Hope. He didn’t deceive her.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) are convinced otherwise. But both ladies are motivated to think the worst of Hope. Steffy still links Hope to the Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) triangle, and Daphne has developed feelings for Carter and wants him to cut her off.

Carter Walton’s Execution Was Bad But His Plan Was Good

Forrester Creations is doing well. His plan to rapidly develop the fashion company into a luxury brand destination company was too ambitious for the Forresters. Carter Moves Forward

Most importantly, Eric Forrester (John McCook) rejected Carter’s pitch during a sit-down last year. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy agreed that Carter’s vision was too risky and wrong.

That’s when Hope overstepped by encouraging Carter to pursue an idea he created after the luxury brand plan was nixed. She did influence his decision to deceive Ridge and Steffy by having them sign documents that made him the manager of the requested LLC.

Hope Logan Can Return To Her Place

Eric is okay with the Hope for the Future division remaining part of FC. Hope can continue to head her eponymous line if it produces profitable numbers.

Of course, stepping back to work under Steffy and Ridge will be hard. Neither person feels about her the way they do about Carter. He’s seen as the man she manipulated and surely will face a dismissive attitude and, potentially, sabotage.

It will be intriguing to see what happens to her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). She made a mistake when not telling Ridge about her acceptance of Carter’s CEO position.

Brooke later explained herself to Ridge and said she was working on Carter’s psyche. But Daphne is credited with swaying his view so Brooke’s aren’t perceived as decisive.

Liam Spencer Lies In Wait

Soap fans are savvy. So, they knew that Liam’s sudden interest in wanting to reconcile with Hope in the recent past was a wink.

Liam’s expressed interest can be pursued now because Hope is vulnerable. She and Carter may be finished unless they explicitly say otherwise.

Hope can’t turn back to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), though Atkinson’s headshot still stands on the show’s online cast page. Liam would be the fallback option that Hope might be inclined to consider as winter turns to spring.

It’s also worth noting that John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) newfound daughter, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), opens an unexpected source of conflict for him and Steffy.

So, Wood’s character will likely seek his counsel or receive advice from Liam. That makes a revival of the Hope-Liam-Steffy triangle plausible shortly.
