The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is done. She told Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that they’re over, despite his repeated professions of love and pledge to bring Hope for the Future back to life.
Carter was warned not to trust Hope. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was the first to recognize that Carter was falling into the same trap that two other men did. Ridge later agreed with his daughter but could not convince his best friend to see the daytime light.
Hope’s spurning of Carter reinforces the nasty comments Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) made about Hope in recent months. Those terrible remarks brought Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to her daughter’s defense but didn’t prevent another attempt at restoring a relationship with Ridge.
Brooke Logan’s Plans Failed Big Time
After discovering they were together, Brooke agreed with Hope being with Carter. However, she warned her daughter to be careful in their workplace,
Hope appreciated her mother’s support, as did Carter. Brooke’s history and worldwide success with her Bedroom line allowed him to tap her for a prominent post during the short-lived takeover.
Brooke’s position as Chief Executive Officer proved to be a misstep that Ridge couldn’t overcome. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) also played this sequence precisely right, didn’t push, and Ridge committed to her. That reconciliation is holding firm, leaving Brooke devastated.
Profound conflict results from the backlash that Brooke and Hope are processing. Tremendously well-crafted and played scenes between this reeling mother and daughter highlight the change-point both ladies are enduring.
Retrospective Scenes Signal The End For Hope Logan
The end is also a new beginning. Carter and Hope experienced self-reflective moments, with accompanying flashbacks shown to the audience.
The signal is evident. Hope and Carter’s romance is over, meaning both will likely be with new romantic entanglements shortly. Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) told Carter she was there for him. As for Hope, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is the most likely rebound option.
Carter Walton Finally Lucky In Love
In recent years, Carter’s most intense love connection was Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) condoning of that relationship was very soapy but also made sense because of the re-emergence of Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) in his life.
It seemed that Carter and Quinn were destined to be together after a months-long build-up. But weirdly, Sofer’s character was suddenly and quietly written out of Los Angeles, California. That was weird and left Carter alone again.
Hope may be the woman he needed to be with before his true love match arrived. Daphne is a highly appealing woman and has fallen for Carter. Their connection is about to be explored, which projects as believable daytime drama.
