Just when Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) appeared to be one of the most stable couples on The Bold and the Beautiful, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) decided to come crashing in on them.
The only thing on earth that this reformed version of Sheila wants, aside from Deacon, is her biological family.
Sheila spends a lot of time wishing that she could have a relationship with her biological son, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), who has been forbidden to spend any time with her by his wife, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood).
If it were up to him, Finn would likely have Sheila in his life, but in order to keep his marriage intact, he has opted to avoid her.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Luna Is The Next Best Thing To Finn
It took a little convincing for Sheila to believe that Luna is Finn’s newfound biological daughter, but once she did, her whole world changed.
She now has a granddaughter who wants to be a part of her life, and they understand each other better than anyone else can.
Luna was just pardoned for murdering two men and kidnapping Steffy, and her grandmother has done far worse things.
Sheila is absolutely thrilled to welcome Luna into her life, and she will inevitably do whatever it takes to help get her granddaughter back on her feet again. But it is going to come at a cost, Deacon.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Deacon Refuses To Accept Luna Into His Life
It has been many months since Luna killed both Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Hollis in cold blood, and Deacon still misses his former employees every day. He considered both men to be his close friends and will never forgive Luna for taking their lives.
Sheila is thrilled to embrace Luna, but Deacon is absolutely mortified. He understands how much it means to his wife to have a blood connection with a relative, but not this one.
Sheila wants to help Luna rehabilitate back into normal life, and she believes that she deserves the help. After all, it wasn’t so long ago that Deacon did the exact same thing for Sheila, and she sees herself as proof that people can change.
While that may be true, Deacon wants nothing to do with Luna, who is about to cause a serious rift in his marriage.
Will Sheila and Deacon’s marriage survive Luna’s involvement? What are your thoughts?
