B&B Spoilers: Brooke Gives Hope The Tough Love She Desperately Needs

Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) world is crashing down around her and for the first time, her mother isn’t going to give her a shoulder to cry on.

For the last few years, Hope has constantly found herself in some sort of crisis, with her marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) collapsing, and then the bad decisions that followed, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has always been there to help pick up the pieces. Until now.

A few months ago Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) tricked the Forresters into signing paperwork that gave him control of Forrester Creations via an LLC. He and Hope set out to change the world by turning the company into a global luxury brand.

They brought back a jewelry line and had Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) create a signature scent, but all the while, Carter’s conscience was eating away at him. He felt like a traitor for deceiving the family that had always treated him like he was one of them.

Hope cheerleaded him every step of the way, and kept insisting that he was a good man even as he made dishonest decisions. His romance with her and the loyalty to her that sprung from that clouded his judgment at times.

Finally, Carter came to his senses and handed Forrester Creations over to its rightful owners, a move that made everyone but Hope happy.

Carter’s guilt and discomfort had become quite obvious to everyone. Both Brooke and Daphne had called him out over it and gently nudged him towards doing the right thing, but Hope kept her blinders on. Even when he tried to discuss his feelings with her, Hope just didn’t want to hear it.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: No One Is In Hope’s Corner, Not Even Brooke

The Forresters had a meeting and while they have decided to keep Carter and Brooke employed, it comes as no surprise to anyone that Hope is out of a job.

She took her firing as badly as expected and proceeded to verbally decimate Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Eric Forrester (John McCook), and Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline Macinnes Wood).

After a few months of helping to run the company, Hope was still on a bit of a power trip and she expected both Carter and her mother to stand by her side.

Instead, Carter is staying with the company and Brooke is horrified by her daughter’s behavior.

Hope truly expected her mother to understand and support her, but instead, she can’t believe how ignorant she has become.

Hope used to be placed on a pedestal because of her innocence, kindness, and genuine goodness, and now she seems to have lost sight of these things. Brooke is furious with Hope and that unexpected anger shakes her to the core.
