B&B Spoilers: Bill Haunted By Argument – Liam’s Brain Drain Shocks All

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) had it out with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

That confrontation was building since Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) outrageous house arrest was followed by her even more ludicrous pardon.

Bill’s role in first getting Luna out of prison and then having her murder convictions pardoned upset many people. Liam was one of them and let his dad know it.

Liam and Bill have often clashed. But they’ve experienced a period of peace in recent years. But what Bill did for Luna broke their truce and coincided with Liam’s most recent collapse.

Liam Spencer’s History Of Fading Quickly

Devoted viewers know that Liam has a history of physical trauma. So, his latest brain drain could be explained as related to past head drama.

A moment of humor came while Liam and Bill were getting testy in the mansion’s living room. Bill told Liam he had lost two great women, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Bill used the term waffle when referring to Liam. Others say that Clifton’s character vacillated between two women he loved because he took their love for granted. However, the waffle tag was a classic Dollar Bill insult because it was accurate and funny.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan In The Right Place

In recent years, Liam came across Steffy in Rome, Italy. That meeting occurred minutes after Liam saw Hope kissing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in the shadow of the Coliseum.

Liam is perfectly positioned to see Hope’s stolen kiss and then cross paths with Steffy in Rome was highly unlikely. Yet, this is soap, and so willing viewers suspended disbelief twice.

So, seeing Steffy find Liam on the ground outside Bill’s mansion wasn’t surprising. The short cast roster this last remaining daytime steamer sports and the need to prevent Liam from dying on the spot made Steffy the right person to find her former husband and the father of their daughter, Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paris Mckinlay).

Bill Spencer’s History Being Peeled

Bill’s vague references to his supposedly horrible childhood were all viewers received during his talks with Luna. But she successfully played off his emotions, securing a prison release and the even more incredible clearing of her charges.

Liam pressed his dad about revealing his backstory, but Bill turned his back and refused. Here’s hoping that Diamont’s character fills in the soapy gaps during Liam’s recovery period.

That untold part of Bill’s life would help to explain his rigid, defensive demeanor and open the possibility that he can develop his emotions.

Possibly, that happens while Liam is unconscious, allowing Bill to feel comfortable offering deeply personal details. Lengthening Bill’s history would contextualize this vital character and also help to explain further why he helped Luna.
