Audrey Roloff got her daughter, Ember a kitten for Christmas a few years ago, but it started urinating in the home. Obviously, that can stink a lot. Not to mention being unhygienic. But have the Little People, Big World alums solved the problem now? Read on to find out.
Lots Of Critics On Parenting
Tons of TLC fans love to point out mistakes by Audrey on the way they perceive she raised her kids incorrectly. Notably, the former Little People, Big World star ignores all of them. You wouldn’t think a kitten could attract critics, but it did, especially once it started to pee in their home.
Audrey Roloff mentioned her cat pee problem a few times on social media, and now, she seems to have found a solution. In her Instagram stories, she talked about how the peeing “did stop (or at least hasn’t in 5 months or so.)” As commonly happens, the post ended up shared on Reddit.
Fans Are Not Happy With The Solution
When the TLC alum explained how she sorted out the problem, some fans felt a bit upset about it. She’d added, “For those who followed the cat pee saga…she’s mostly an outside kitty we let her in at night (in a room separate from our other cat) and she can’t wander the house unless Ember knows, and is playing with or watching her. It’s working for now 😆”

WebMD noted that cats might pee in the home for a range of reasons, including health issues, stress, territorial conflict, and a dirty litter box. In the past, Audrey Roloff claimed that health issues were ruled out. But, TLC fans are not sure her solution was right.
Comments On Outside Kittens
One unhappy critic felt that the solution was not the answer. They wrote, “So the problem of the cat peeing indoors is to keep the cat outside? problem solved?? lol!!” Others agreed, and a commenter replied, “Ugh I hate this so much too.”
More people seemed to think that the cat should be taken back to the vet. Clearly, they feel more should be done by Audrey to explore medical conditions. One of them wrote, “My cat was doing this and the vet said they do it when something is wrong.. my cat has a condition and has to [eat] prescription food or her urine crystallizes… there’s probably something medically wrong with the cat, no issues since we switched food.”
