Asuelu Pulaa Marrying In Zimbabwe Seems Unlikely?

90 Day Fiance Alum Asuelu Pulaa - Instagram

Asuelu Pulaa told his 90 Day Fiance fans that he went to Zimbabwe to marry his new girlfriend, but how likely is that? Kalani Fagaata’s ex recently also claimed he was deported back to Samoa. However, is he just trolling his TLC fans? Read on to find out more.

Deportation, Zimbabwe & San Diego

Kalani Fagaata and Asuelu co-parent their children, Oliver and Kennedy and he arrived stateside from Samoa legally. The 90 Day Fiance star obtained his green card, and his K1 visa, and got a job. While he claimed deportation, all he had to do was renew any expired documents. Notably, he could even apply for citizenship. So, it seems that he just trolled his TLC fans to make a point about Donald Trump’s deportation policies.

A few days ago, a live by Asuelu Pulaa ended up on the TikTok account of @90dayfiancefun. In it, he claimed he was “in Zimbabwe” and would be marrying his “new girlfriend” the next day. It’s expensive to marry there, he claimed. So, he told TLC fans that anyone could attend, but they should send him “$1000” for the privilege However, since then, he shared that he was at the “Samoan San Diego Golf Club.” Unsurprisingly, that makes people say, “Hmmm.” After all, it’s not like Zimbabwe is five minutes down the road.

Attention Seeking On Trump’s Policies?

Often, people who don’t live in Africa get confused by all those countries: just like many Africans assume Canada is a part of the USA. South Africa covers lots of Southern African countries, as far as geographically challenged people know.

As South Africa’s neighbor is Zimbabwe, did Asuelu Pulaa think he was getting publicity from Donald Trump again? There are sanctions on South Africa over the land appropriation without compensation policy there. But, Zimbabwe is not South Africa and their land appropriation happened in the 1990s.

Many Zimbabweans responded in the comments section of the TikTok video. Most of them think he’s joking. Our source who lives there thinks it’s totally unlikely he would share that sort of news from a hotel room. Zimbabwe is an eye-opener. Beautiful, friendly, “reasonably safe for visitors, and packed with nice destinations.” Surely the TLC star would post a photo of some popular restaurant or hotel? Or, he might have been fascinated by Bud Light beer on the supermarket shelves.

Fans Comment And Laugh

Zimbabweans have TVs and laptops, and many of them watch 90 Day Fiance. So, the locals commented and many of them laughed. Of course, other nationalities also had their say. Here are some of the reactions to Asuelu Pulaa:

  • Huh ????? Ma Zimbabweans are you here?
  • lol…i wanna see something…
  • Our Zimbos where will the wedding be? let’s show up, let’s attend 🤣
  • The way he says Zimbabwe 😂
  • i can’t articulate how random this is.
  • He’s coming to South Africa😢
  • Some one tell me this guy is…joking,😂😂

Well, it seems like he was joking, cashing in on Donald Trump’s trending policies. Actually, Screenrant reported that Kalani Fagaata confirmed he’s still in the USA. What are your thoughts? Shout out in the comments below, and come back here often for all your 90 Day Fiance news and updates
