Speaking of the renewal, Jason Sudeikis said:

Meanwhile, Jack Burditt (30 Rock, Modern Family, Nobody Wants This) is executive producing season 4 under his new overall deal with Apple TV+. Moreover, Sudekis will executive product along with Brendan Hunt (who also played Coach Beard), Joe Kelly, Toheeb Jimoh, Jane Becker, Bill Wrubel and Jamie Lee will also serve as executive producers.
‘Nothing short of a juggernaut’
Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+ said:
Ted Lasso has been nothing short of a juggernaut, inspiring a passionate fanbase all over the world, and delivering endless joy and laughter, all while spreading kindness, compassion and unwavering belief.

The series first debuted in 2020, with the third season dropping in 2023. Ted Lasso quickly found an audience on its release, likely due to the main character’s quest to spread happiness and kindness at a time when viewers were living through the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Variety, the Apple TV+ series has been nominated for 61 Emmy Awards and has won 13. This includes back-to-back wins in the Best Comedy Series category, along with consecutive wins for Sudeikis and Goldstein.
