Anna Johnston Family Drama, Emma Apologized, Fans Are Skeptics

The tension between Anna Johnston and the rest of the family played out on TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons in Season 15, but Emma Johnston apologized. However, social media followers seem to be skeptical about the sincerity of it.

On March 21, a fan on Reddit shared the comments section of Emma’s apology video on TikTok. In the comments, Anna responded, “I LOVE U & girl and always will…you my sisters forever.” However, many people didn’t buy into the reconciliation and a lot of people discussed it. 

Questioning  the sincerity of the apology, one user suggested, “This could all be drama to get people to watch.” But, others found the timing, after the season finale, suspicious. Lots of comments showed a lack of trust.

Reactions Are Skeptical

One person wrote, “I feel like Emma’s multiple lives etc bashing Anna and then a monotone, scripted feeling apology to fans, and now a sudden reconciliation..how sincere is it?”

Another TLC fan blamed Amber Johnston, saying, “Amber told Emma to fix it or else no more TLC money. They’re done. This or something similar. She and Ella were too vicious to end all of a sudden. This was too vile to end so soon. Too manipulative.” 

A more hopeful suggestion came from another fan who said, “Anna is the big sister, so of course she will give her little sister grace. I hope Emma is able to separate her relationship with Anna from what her mother wants.”

Overall, most people feel as if they have been trolled by the family and by the showrunners. 

Background Of The Feud

The latest season of the Reality TV show showed a deep rift between Anna Johnston and her family. Ahead of the season, Anna hinted at the difficult scenes, saying she felt “like Hell” about it. Meanwhile, some fans believe that Anna was always given a bad edit, even from a young age, as she was just 14 when the show began.

Another reason why fans feel skeptical is due to the fact that not long ago, Emma Johnston and her brother, Alex, went live on social media, placing the blame for the estrangement on Anna, citing her boyfriend as the reason. Emma claimed she had never met him, but that he was the source of all the problems.

Plus, fans talked about how Emma got called out for her nastiness just a week ago, when she made a post about women but deliberately excluded her sister, Anna. So, they think Emma might just be trying to do some damage control.
