Anna Campisi Shares Bad News With ’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans

Anna Campisi and Mursel Mistanoglu from 90 Day Fiancé on TLC have a sweet family, and she lost a lot of weight, but this week, she shared that they suffered a loss that seemed heartbreaking. To set your mind at ease, it wasn’t about any of her sons. 

Bad News For The Couple 

TLC fans know that Mursel Mistanoglu and Anna met though a love for bees. Their love seemed unlikely, and at one stage, he returned to Turkey as he was afraid to tell his parents about Anna’s sons. But, it worked out well in the end, and they are a success story for the franchise. But now, bad things happened. 

Anna Campisi and Mursel often talk about the bee products that they sell at fairs and out of their shop. In fact, she won an award for “Beauty and the Bees” in 2022. Unfortunately, her bad news relates to her production side. On Instagram on March 3, she ruefully shared that many of her bees had died. 

Disaster Strikes The Bee Hives

The 90 Day Fiancé star who raises her cutest boy, Gokhan wasn’t feeling happy on the weekend. Sharing a video of Mursel Mistanoglu working with the hives, she showed a lot of dead bees. “We had a sad day yesterday. We went to one of our bee yards. Every colony was dead except one,” she lamented.

Anna Campisi continued by explaining, “They were all alive 2 weeks ago. Then we had a cold snap -35f for a week. Beekeeping can really be heartbreaking especially here in Nebraska.” Sadly, only ” 4 colonies out of 50 made it.” So, this coming spring, the couple need to buy in a lot of bees to make up for the loss.

Anna Campisi found a lot of sympathy from 90 Day Fiancé fans in the comments section. TLC fans like the couple, and they seem happy that Mursel assimilated into American life so well. Here are some of their reactions:

MPR News reported on February 23, that it’s not only Nebraska struggling with bee losses. The website explained:

Honeybee organizations are collecting data to determine the extent of the losses. A voluntary online survey conducted by Project Apis…found “severe and sudden” colony losses..The nonprofit estimates nearly 1.25 million colonies have been lost since June of 2024.
