Angela Deem Is Not Leaving The ’90 Day Fiance’ Franchise?

New reports suggest that 90 Day Fiance fans have not seen the last of Angela Deem. As she hasn’t appeared on any spinoffs recently, many people believed that TLC fired the long-time reality TV star who split from Michael Ilesanmi.

Not Done With Meemaw?

John Yates and @90dayfianceaddicts shared an Instagram post on Saturday, April 5, that claimed Angela would be back on the franchise. Unfortunately, the source was not mentioned, other than to claim that the information came from an “insider.” 

The caption on a screenshot said, “Inside sources say TLC has NOT cut ties with Angela Deem. The source said she is still ratings grabber and is still too valuable for the network to let go.” Well, it doesn’t take a crystal ball to know that many viewers are unhappy to hear the news, especially as the petition to have her removed is still active. 

Fans React To The New Information

It’s not the first time that word arrived that fans have not seen the back of Angela. In March this year, in a TikTok post, she informed her followers of her impending return to being in front of the cameras.  Although she remained silent in the video, the caption conveyed the good news to her few dedicated fans.

Hearing the news for a second time found a lot of hostile reactions. One follower wrote, “That’s sad that the network thinks her domestic violence is not important and ratings are. This woman physically and verbally abused her husband…Personally, I don’t watch anything I know she’s appearing on…”

Here are a few more reactions:

• Gross. Tired of having her on my screen, been so nice to have a break from her on 90 day and I hope that continues.
• The network should be accountable for her actions towards her husband. If she were the husband they would have cut ties way earlier. Double standard.
• Toxic dingbat hag…

Meanwhile, others felt a bit skeptical and preferred to believe “Shabooty” who reported she was done with the show. Additionally, others said that the network got it wrong. They don’t want more of Angela Deem and would prefer to see Michael Ilesanmi on their screens.

Was Angela Abusive?

There are, in fact, plenty of instances where fans believed the grandmother was abusive toward her Nigerian lover. Remember, she once stuffed a cake in his face when he apologised for upsetting her. Additionally, she broke off pieces of his car in Nigeria. Things got so bad when he arrived stateside that Michael claimed he had to run away. 

Notably, verbal abuse was there for all to see in various episodes of the network.
