The 1000-Lb Sisters star was originally arrested alongside her boyfriend, Brian Vovvorn. It happened at a safari park, and they faced charges of allegedly possessing marijuana in her car as well as magic mushrooms. Additionally, she faced charges of child endangerment, But that was dropped. She entered a plea deal and was fined $500. 

A lot of TLC fans hate that Amy Slaton had her boys with her along with a boyfriend in tow. After all, the 1000-lB Sisters star once pledged that she wouldn’t introduce new men to her sons, Gage and Glenn. Also, they grow increasingly tired of seeing the dirty home the kids live in, This week, they were after her again.

Amy Slaton got a lot of shade thrown at her by TLC critics in 2024, and it sure looks like that won’t stop in 2025. Here are some comments from the discussion:

• How many times have TLC producers seen ashtrays on the tables and let it slide?
• Disgusting. My parents and grandparents always smoked in the house when I was a kid. I will never understand how anyone thought this was okay.
• The smoking inside the house is really dangerous and the kids should not be exposed to secondhand smoke. I’m really disappointed in Amy, but is it really surprising to anyone?
