American Idol had the “Show Stopper” round on April 6, and Amanda Barise gave a very powerful performance. So, some fans are convinced that she will at least get as far as the Top 5. Read on to find out why.
Good Performance By Amanda
The new season brings something nice to talk about because there seems to be a lot of bad news from the show. In the last few years, headlines seem to have been very depressing. Admittedly, it was mostly about former contestants. However, some negativity arrived when people complained about Katy Perry’s replacement, Carrie Underwood.
Amanda Barise has some tough competition, like John Foster, who sings country, and Gabby Samon, who took it away with “Four Women.” However, fans loved the performance by Amanda, who has some experience singing with live bands. “Ain’t Nobody,” won her a standing ovation, and just about everybody raved about her talent.
Fans Rave About The Strong Singer
In the comments section of the performance shared by Talent King HG on YouTube, audience approval seemed to be very high. One American Idol fan wrote, “WOW, what a FIRECRACKER! ❤ I love her voice so so much! She can SANG everything! Top 3 but then again, I can see her winning this whole thing. I’ll find this comment when I see her win this whole thing! Love love love ❤ big fan! My favorite.”
High praise indeed, and others agreed that Amanda Barise will probably make the finalists. Here’s another person who predicted that:
- Want to see her do a Tina marie song. She has chops. Feel so sorry for the judges this year… so many great singers.
- she’s a great singer right song or not. she can sing anything!
- She tore this song mf up!
While most people agreed that it wasn’t the right song for the contestant, she still did very well, a sure sign of a top performer in the music industry.
Other Contestants Who Might Make The Top 5
It’s not going to be a walk in the park for any of the contestants this year. Another performance that also looks likely to take the competitor to the top 5 was by Mattie Pruitt, who, at 15, also stunned the judges with her rendition of “This Is A Man’s World.”
Keep an eye on Drew Ryn, who did well with “You Were Always On My Mind,” following a less impressive effort during the Arena round.
