Amanda Halterman Updates On COVID & Heart Health Scare

Amanda Halterman from 1000-Lb Sisters looked unwell and she lost a lot of weight, so TLC fans felt very concerned about her. Subsequent updates revealed she had a heart scare, and this weekend, on social media, she talked about COVID and her status regarding her overall health.

The Health Update

In the third week of February, the 1000-Lb Sisters star gave her fans a big shock. On her social media, she told them that she’d been staying in a hospital for three days and revealed that she “blacked out.” Naturally, that worried her followers a lot. Additionally, doctors fitted a heart monitor.

Ahead of the weekend, Amanda Halterman returned to Instagram and in a reel, she gave an update. She still looks very thin, but, Tammy Slaton’s sister claimed that she’s “feeling better.” However, she also told her followers that she’s now awaiting the “results” from the “heart monitor.” Hopefully, she gets some answers on that soon.

COVID & Wellbeing

1000-Lb Sisters fans noticed that after Amanda returned from her London trip, which played out on the TLC show, she started looking unhealthy. In fact, she looks so thin that some folks are worried she lost way too much weight. What they might not have known, was that she was sick with COVID. In her newest update, she mentioned that she was unwell with the virus “in January” this year.

Amanda Halterman also said:

I’ve been having symptoms like brain fog, because you know I had COVID in January. And, that’s kinda how I feel, but there’s no respiratory issues as far as that is concerned. But, I don’t have any answers…but I am definitely taking care of myself. I went to all of my follow-up appointments and I got myself pampered a little bit along the way.

The 1000-Lb Sisters star also encouraged her followers to see their doctor if something doesn’t feel right. After all, she noted, “You know your body better than anyone else.”
