90 Day Fiance Shawn And Alliya, Everything You Need To Know!

90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that fans are ready to meet the newest couple to the show, Shawn Finch and Alliya de Batista.

Alliya and Shawn were part of Love in Paradise and now they are back. Shawn lives in the United States and Alliya is a Brazilian trans woman.

They met while Shawn was on vacation and they fell in love very quickly. Now Shawn wants Alliya in the States.

Their Love Story

Shawn and Alliya have been together for a few years now. Alliya is 25 and Shawn is 62. Shawn works at a salon in West Hollywood and is madly in love with Alliya.

Shawn fell in love with Alliya as Douglas though and he is having a hard time accepting how much Alliya has changed.

Shawn has been in love before and he was previously married to a woman and he has three kids with her.

Even though Shawn does identify as a gay man, he knows that Alliya is transitioning and it has been a little complicated for him.

He told the cameras, “I’m mourning the loss of the first chapter, and now it’s this metamorphosis has happened, so I want to focus my energy on what is and not what was. So I just need to see what we both need in order for this relationship to work.”

Getting Alliya To the States

Shawn told the cameras that Alliya’s visa hasn’t been approved yet and he is trying to help her in any way possible. She has the interview for her visa, but she hasn’t had luck with any type of visa she has applied for.

However, it comes out that she used the name Douglas to apply and now she is acred that there will be some issues due to that.

As much as Alliya wants to be authentic, this visa process could be difficult if she isn’t staying true to her new self. We will have to keep an eye on 90 Day Fiance to see if she does end up getting her visa and moving in with Shawn for good.
