Angela leveled serious accusations against Michael, claiming he was unfaithful and dishonest, and the strain of their long-distance romance only intensified their struggles. Residing in Georgia, Angela frequently made the journey to Nigeria to be with Michael.

Faced with the difficulties of bringing him to America, they ultimately decided to marry in his homeland, all while continuing to fight for his immigration to the U.S.

Michael was finally set to come to America, and both he and Angela were excited-however, when he arrived, things didn’t go as expected. Angela hired a private investigator to check on him, but when the results showed nothing suspicious, she was still unhappy.

She felt the investigator didn’t do a thorough job because she didn’t want to believe Michael was innocent-eventually, he disappeared for a while, saying he was afraid of Angela.

With a lawyer on her side, Angela was ready to confront him, so he decided to fight back and started a GoFundMe campaign.

It was quite successful, but according to Screen Rant, Michael Ilesanmi posted  on his Instagram joking about having a tight budget as 2025 approaches, raising questions about his financial situation.

He  pressured his wife for $5,000 to delete his social media accounts; and  we can’t forget the compensation from  90 Day Fiancé, its spin-offs, and the tell-all episodes.

If he managed to save that money and didn’t splurge excessively, he might be doing just fine, and that recent post could simply be a lighthearted gesture.
