1000-Lb Sisters: Amanda Halterman Blacks Out In Heart Scare

1000-lb Sisters fans thought that Amanda Halterman looked unwell three weeks ago, and on February 19, the TLC star shared that she’d been in hospital following a heart health scare. So, she asked fans to pray for her.

Fans of the TLC show noticed that Halterman looked very thin, so they wondered if she was eating properly. In fact, some fans thought that she looked so old and tired and that she might burn out. And, more of them wondered if she was overdoing her weight loss. Anyway, those who thought she looked unwell were correct.

A week ago, the 1000-Lb SIsters star told her followers on Instagram that she’d “been MIA with upper respiratory issues.” Additionally, she talked about the family being ill with “COVID and Flu.” At the same time, Tammy Slaton’s sister revealed that medical professionals placed a heart monitor on her. So, it seems they discovered some cardiac issues. 

Hospital Admission After A Black Out

Shocked TLC fans saw that Amanda Halterman lost even more weight when she gave an update on Instagram on February 19. In her caption, she said, “I am finally home after a three [day] stay [in] the hospital. For now, we wait for a diagnosis and treatment plan.” However, the news that she blacked out while doing housework came in her video. 

“I had my kiddos over, three of them. I ordered pizza and was trying to clean up and I just blacked out,” the 1000-Lb SIsters character said. Fortunately, her new boyfriend, Leonard Moore was also at home. So, for now, she is waiting for test results because doctors are “checking my heart, checking everything.”

Self Care Is Important 

A cardio scare can be a massive wakeup call, so Halterman urged her followers to get “health check-ups, [and] regular physicals.” Before asking for “prayer,” she urged her TLC followers to take better care of their health.“Go and get yourself together. You know, nobody knows you better than you. So let’s take care of ourselves, okay? Self-care is the best care,” she pleaded. 

Naturally, 1000-LB Sisters fans responded in the comments section. Some of them talked about how “skinny” the reality TV star looked. Meanwhile, others assured her that they “love” her. Many of them said that they would say a prayer for her.
