After learning about Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) possible escape, Claire mentioned Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Claire’s statement was a huge clue that she is still very much under Jordan’s control.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was alerted to Jordan’s possible escape. Victor told Victoria, who discussed it with Cole.

Victoria wanted to keep Jordan’s possible escape hidden from Claire for her own good. However, Cole disagreed and reasoned with Victoria about why they should tell Claire the truth.

Cole told Victoria in the episode that aired on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 that Claire needs to know if Jordan is on the loose.

First of all, Victoria and Cole view Claire as a victim of Jordan. While that is true to a certain extent, nobody really knows if Claire has truly turned against Jordan.

If Jordan truly did a good job brainwashing Claire growing up, then it wouldn’t be this easy to sway her to the good side.

Jordan doesn’t seem like the type to half-a** schemes, especially when she has been plotting, programming, and training for decades.

This isn’t a Team Jordan thing either (her actions were reprehensible), it’s just psychological facts. So, keeping that in mind, it’s very possible that Claire is still deceiving the Newman family.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Claire talked to Victoria and Cole. Claire seemed optimistic about her treatment and is opening up more.

Claire was also mostly smiles when visiting with Victoria. Claire did seem concerned when told about Jordan’s possible escape. However, Claire has already proven to be quite convincing when she worked for Nikki.

Claire asked how Nikki was doing and even brought up the vodka IV incident. During that conversation, Claire asked about Nikki’s recovery after Jordan put the vodka in her IV.

However, fans know that Claire bragged to Nikki about putting that “present” in her IV when they were still held hostage at the Oregon lakehouse.

Y&R Spoilers – Hidden Enemies

Now, it’s possible that maybe Jordan did do it. While Claire did commit a lot of sins, she also seemed to hesitate a lot. So, maybe Jordan was the one who really put the vodka in Nikki’s IV.

At the same time, it could have also been a clue. Either I have a bad memory or Claire outright lied to Victoria about who really reactivated Nikki’s drinking, but why?

Besides the lie, Claire seemed to keep giving Victoria a big grin during their last visit. It’s one thing to be positive about progress, but it also didn’t seem authentic.

While everyone is on full alert because of Jordan’s possible escape, they seem to be letting their guard down around Claire. That could prove to be a dangerous and perhaps even deadly mistake.
