The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) finds herself trapped in a relationship that seems to be going absolutely nowhere!

It’s becoming increasingly clear to Audra that she’s not on board with the idea of tying the knot with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Tucker and Audra may have been fine as friends with benefits, but as a grand love story-not so much; Tucker doesn’t seem to have the commitment it takes.

“Belle” aka Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) alter advised Audra that she deserves better than Tucker, and we can’t help but nod in agreement, despite Tucker’s offer of a huge engagement ring.

With single-again Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) around, Audra could easily find a new leading man, one who’d be at least slightly more commitment-minded, although he’s made his cheating mistakes too.

Plus, “Belle” hinted that Audra’s connection with Tucker might stem from her daddy issues, which could very well be true given her troubled past with her alcoholic father.

Y & R Spoilers – Decidedly NOT Supercouple Material

Audra and Tucker’s relationship lacks depth, it seems like the show paired them up out of necessity rather than genuine chemistry and his eagerness to marry Audra sends up red flags.

What are his true intentions, is he trying to replace Ashley or prove something to himself, is he in a midlife crisis, considering he’s old enough to be Audra’s father?

Perhaps the writers are just using this plotline to create drama, especially since Audra is resistant to the idea of marriage; even if she eventually agrees, they’ll never be supercouple material.

It’s safe to say that Audra could really benefit from a fresh start. Once a captivating siren in the artistic world, Tucker has undeniably become her biggest downfall.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – From Bombshell To Boring?

Audra is currently stuck in a storyline that’s not doing justice to her true potential- you could say she’s gone from bombshell to boring!

It’s time for her to break free from this Tucker pairing and explore new adventures with different characters; it’s a shame to see her talents go to waste.

The Young and the Restless could really shake things up by giving her a fresh start and allowing her to shine.
