Y&R Spoilers: Victor’s Attempts To Shut Cole Out Won’t Succeed?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) loathing continues.

He’s decided to ward off Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) for no good reason. Kudos to Cole for not cowering.

He is aware of Victor’s penchant for manipulating his family’s lives under the pretense of so-called protection. However, Cole is not intimidated and plans to continue his pursuit of Victoria, potentially through complete reconciliation.

It’s natural for Peck’s character to fall back in love with Victoria. However, Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) miracle gift isn’t enough to change Victor’s hardened opinion.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Newman Creates An Opening

Nikki asked her beloved husband if he would consider Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) well-being. He told her he would, in what may have been a slight crack in the Moustache’s heart.

No one knows Victor better than Nikki. She understands that changes can occur if a dramatic event or circumstances arise.

Since this is daytime, viewers know Cole could save Victoria from certain death or rescue her in a dramatic fashion. Short of that, Cole could do the same with Victor, Nikki, or any other of their children or grandchildren, including Claire.

Y&R Spoilers – What Does Claire Newman Think?

Claire falls in love with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and seriously considers her grandmother’s offer to work with her at Abbott-Chancellor, a soon-to-be-acquired company.

Victor’s machinations should result in Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) losing the company his mother gifted to him. While Victor has not yet secured that, it’s highly probable.

Again, assuming Victor wins, Nikki is set to become the reclaimed Chancellor’s head, and Claire will serve as her assistant. That coming reality means Claire will be regularly near Victor and gain a repeated ability to influence his mindset.

That is another way that the tension Victor intentionally injects into his relationship with Cole can change.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cole Howard Is A Winner

Cole differs from Victoria’s most recent husband, Ashland Locke (last played by Robert Newman). He is also very different than Billy.

Victoria and Cole did not seek each other out and would not be moving toward each other romantically if not for Claire’s incredible return to their lives. Peck’s character has been everything Nikki mentioned, meaning positive.

Cole and Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) intervened in Victor’s plot to punish Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk). Victor continues to refuse to admit that they were right, but they helped him avoid potential imprisonment.

Even if that had not happened, nearly any family member at the ranch could have discovered the makeshift prison he held Jordan in. So, Cole should be thanked. But this is Victor Newman in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
