Y&R Spoilers: Victoria Triggers Claire’s Dark Side By Forbidding Her From Meeting Adam?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) was stolen from the hospital after birth by her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) who brainwashed her to believe that the Newman family is evil incarnate.

Claire is actually Baby Eve, the daughter that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) were told had died.

The discovery was made after Claire helped Jordan kidnap and drug the Newmans and this was not a good familial first impression on Claire’s part.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Claire Grace’s First Impression

Victoria is now in mama bear mode, vowing to protect her daughter who was led astray by Jordan. Surely, Jordan is 100 responsible for Claire’s evil ways, yes? Well, maybe no!

While Jordan convinced Claire to get a job at NE and arrange for massive evil to be done to the family, the truth is that she has free will. Something inside of her agreed to go along with kidnap and torture.

What if Victoria has to face the inconvenient truth that Claire is simply a Newman bad seed, just like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)? Some would call that karma.

Y&R Spoilers – Will Adam Newman Accept Claire Grace?

Victoria plans to re-raise Claire properly, but what a shocker it would be if Claire gravitates to Adam instead of Victoria.

It would make perfect sense that Claire identifies with Adam, who has wrought his share of evil upon the family.

Victoria will try to shrink wrap her daughter in a bid to protect her, and it’s possible that includes banning bad boy Uncle Adam from coming anywhere near her.

As we said, Claire has free will, and after years of being lied to, she will find it hard to know who to trust.

Claire recently saved Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) from a fresh assault from Jordan, but Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may take some more convincing before fully accepting the wayward girl.

In the meantime, Claire might feel right at home interacting with Adam who is also a black sheep. It would be too easy to rehab Claire and have her change overnight.

Having her bond with Adam would definitely add to the spice and drama as she moves forward in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
