The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Victor’s expressions say otherwise. Claire is making her transition into the Newman home.

She has been staying at the ranch since Victoria’s home disappeared from the soap. Y&R fans wonder if Victor accepts her as a Newman.

The user Shoelover asked on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Does Victor really accept Claire as a Newman?

If indeed he accepts as part of his family, betting she will be put her back on the Newman payroll in a management position. Just another person he can control.”

Y&R fans took to the thread to react to that scene. Victor made some interesting expressions during that scene.

He didn’t look like he cared about Claire. He’s still coming around to the idea because of her past with Jordan (Colleen Zenk).

One fan noted: “I think he is treating her just like his other family members – how can they help him get what he wants done – in the name of family and everyone should be willing to risk everything. [SIC]”

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Victor still loves Victoria as his own. He loves her more than his other children.

So, he’ll be more willing to come around to Claire. He probably made sure that Claire’s DNA matched before then.

This also brings up the question as to whether Victor forgives Claire for her part in taking down his family — especially with Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) sobriety.

He sees them as collateral damage rather than family. Victor only cares about people if they can do something for him.
