Y&R Spoilers: Victor Interrogates Cole, Has His Suspicions?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will interrogate Cole Howard, (J. Eddie Peck) having his suspicions.

Victor’s suspicions are that Cole is staying around for more reasons than grown up baby Eve Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and he wants to know his intentions regarding Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Victoria has had some very bad luck with men and has been married to many losers-and Cole wasn’t the best husband when they were married either.

But now he’s grown up and matured, and has been a successful author and Victor thinks maybe his wild oats have all been sown.

Victor has noticed when he has come upon the two of them together there’s been a lot of talk about what would have happened if they’d done things differently.

Cole thinks Victor is getting a little ahead of himself with his questions, wanting to know if he and Victoria are back together.

Right now, they’re back together as Claire’s parents, but he isn’t ruling out anything-they have wondered if they’d still be together if she hadn’t “died”.

Y & R Spoilers – The Important Thing Is Their Daughter

Cole stresses the important thing is their daughter and helping her, and he and Victoria both hope that Claire will let them-they’re making baby steps with her.

Victor gets that, he’d had his own conversation with Victoria about it and mentioned how he has gone through similar things with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Cole says he and Victoria want to present a united front focused on Claire, her healing and their desire to make up for lost time-Victor says it’s easier said than done.

Adam was traumatized as a child about the age of his own son-he killed his abusive stepfather trying to protect his mother, and Victor covered it up.

Adam blocked it out but then had the traumatic memories come back a few years ago and it was tortuous.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Still Not Sure Whether To Trust Claire Grace

Victor is still not sure whether to trust Claire, but Cole, as Victoria, insists she was groomed and she’s so ashamed of the things she’s done she can’t accept their love.

That rings truth to Victor, and he’s more comfortable with believing she’s not still working with Jordan.

Adam also has a lot of self-hate and conflict with his siblings doesn’t help-amazingly, Victoria has a new appreciation of why her younger brother is the way he is.

It’s just going to take a lot of time to make up for so many years of deception and being groomed to hate.

Cole asks Victor to remember when they were all poisoned in Oregon, Claire was the one who gave them all the antidote.
