Y&R Spoilers: Victor Busts Jack And Nikki, But It’s Not What He Thinks

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease a suspicious Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will bust Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

But it’s not what he thinks is going on-Jack is merely acting as her Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor and lending a helping hand.

Jack, in fact, had begged Nikki to let Victor in on the arrangement but Nikki didn’t want to-she wanted to keep it secret from him. She didn’t want Victor to have to be her sponsor because of all the other things he had to handle.

The family as a whole is in a recovery stage from what crazy Jordan (Colleen Zenk) put them through, it was traumatic for everyone.

Jack, on the other hand, is detached enough but yet close enough to be Nikki’s go-to if she’s tempted to drink. But Victor is already suspicious of something going on between Jack and Nikki, and of Jack being way too nosy.

Y & R Spoilers – Jack Abbott And Victor Newman Have Been At Peace A While

Even though the feud between Jack and Victor goes back many years, they’ve been at peace for a while-actually for years.

Jack actually worried about Victor several years ago when he was fighting a potentially fatal illness, that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) cured with an experimental medicine.

Jack can’t forget the time in Society when Victor passed out right in front of him even though Victor seems to have forgotten.

Jack is a man with a good heart and he’s always willing to help a friend-or even a business rival, thinking “enemy” too strong of a word.

There was a time when Jack and Nikki were married, but it was many years ago when Victor also was married to someone else.

As if Victor didn’t have enough to worry about with Jordan possibly escaped from her prison which caught on fire, he chooses to follow his wife but not out of protection.

Victor knows from experience that Nikki could mess up and misbehave when she’s fighting her alcoholism and he wants to see what she’s doing.

He catches Nikki with Jack and totally misconstrues what’s going on-and basically makes a fool of himself in doing so, and makes Nikki angry.

If they can’t trust each other there’s a problem, and although Jack is loathe to be a marriage counselor, he makes a suggestion. Nikki needs Victor to trust her, but on the other hand she needs to trust Victor!
