Y&R Spoilers: Traci & Alan’s Romance Rubs Ashley The Wrong Way – Resemblance To Martin Triggering

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that the romance bug has once again hit Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland).

Unfortunately, it’s been a long while since she dated someone, and now it seems as if Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) therapist friend Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) is interested.

This is great news for Traci; however, how will Ashley feel about it when she gets out of treatment?

Y&R spoilers suggest that Alan played a key role in not only diagnosing Ashley’s dissociative identity disorder (DID) but also getting her the help she needed. Unfortunately, his twin brother is the reason why Ashley is in the predicament she’s in.

However, that wasn’t Alan’s fault. He went above and beyond to help Ashley by not only coming to Genoa City for a visit to assess his friend but also taking her back to Paris to seek the underlying reason for her DID and organizing the facility she’s in now.

He also did this all before he realized Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) had an incident with Ashley in Paris, pretending to be him.

Y&R Spoilers – Will Traci Abott Have To Choose Between Love & Her Sister?

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Alan wasn’t the only person who went above and beyond for Ashley, Traci has, too.

She’s been a supportive little sister throughout this entire ordeal and has been by Ashley’s side through all her ups and downs.

Ashley and Alan were friends before all this went down, but once she knows the source of her trauma, and exactly what Martin did to her that fateful night in Paris, will it be hard for Ashley to come into contact with Alan? Will she not want to be around him?

Traci and Alan shared a kiss during the Monday, July 1 episode. Things are heating up between the two, and in the coming weeks, they could get more serious.

Ashley will probably be very happy for her sister, as she knows what a great guy Alan is, but will it be too hard for her to see Alan’s face?

Traci may have to make a tough decision, as the two sisters live together and are very close. Will she be forced to choose between love and sisterhood?
